Terms of Service

These Terms of Use govern the circumstances under which to-do-go may be visited and actively used. Violations of the Terms of Use may result in a ban on use or even further legal action. Should the operator of to-do-go incur damage as a result of a breach of the terms of use, compensation claims are possible.

General information on to-do-go

to-do-go is a website and web application that is available for free. There are no costs for the registration nor for the use. to-do-go finances itself by displaying unobtrusive advertising in the sidebar (wide view, for example on the PC) or in the header (narrow view, like on a smartphone). For privacy reasons, this advertisement will only be displayed after a login, so that the visitor has the opportunity to read the Privacy Policy or these Terms of Use without having to create facts. In addition to the free mode, there is also an optional premium mode that can be used to remove advertisements and unlock other features.

Rights of the visitor

When you log in, to-do-go will automatically create a user account. If the login is made via a social media platform, the user name and profile picture are also read from the social media platform and are saved on to-do-go as part of the user account. to-do-go undertakes to handle the received data carefully, not to pass it on to third parties and only to request and save a minimum of data necessary for the technical operation. The storage and use of the data can be contradicted at any time, which is equivalent to deleting the account. This account deletion can be initiated at any time on the profile page after login or by request (eg via e-mail or the contact form) by to-do-go.

If the visitor experiences an illegal use of to-do-go, for example in the context of copyright infringements, to-do-go can be informed of this illegal use via contact form, e-mail or by post and will react appropriately to this message after a reasonable lead time and due consideration of the circumstances, for example by removing the claimed contents or blocking the account of the causing user.

Obligations of the visitor

By logging in to to-do-go you must approve the use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy . You also have to accept these Terms of Use by logging in.

At this point, we explicitly point out that content stored in to-do-go is accessible again after a subsequent login - everything else would hardly make sense. In concrete terms, however, this means that other people with access to the social media account used for the login also have access to the stored content. In this case, to-do-go is taking this as a permitted disclosure of the account information and contents, and to-do-go is released from privacy claims that may result from the other person gaining access to these contents. In particular, it is also the visitor's own responsibility to ensure the security of his social media account and, in the event of unauthorized access, to better secure it and to log out all registered devices via the profile page.

to-do-go may not be used to store or distribute content that is prohibited by law, including but not limited to crimes, instructions for criminal offenses, glorification of crime or even performing crimes with use of to-do-go. For content posted by the visitor on to-do-go, the visitor is fully responsible and releases to-do -go of any liability for such content. This is among others the case with copyright infringement or criminal content.

The operators of to-do-go have a "house right" and can grant visitors a "house ban" at any time, which results in a permanent ban on visiting and the use of to-do-go . Anyone who continues to use to-do-go despite such a ban must expect criminal prosecution. In particular, after an explicit revocation / prohibition of the use of the data by the visitor, a new log-on to the to-do-go page is prohibited, as this is contrary to the prohibition of use by the visitor.

The visitor undertakes to use to-do-go in such a way that no extraordinary burden on the to-do-go server comes about. This means among other things: no excessive access to the to-do-go server, for example through fast-clocked automation and no use of to-do-go for storing binaries or exceptionally large amounts of data. Interacting with the to-do-go server with the ulterior motive of causing damage to to-do-go or gaining unauthorized access to the server or the data is prohibited. In the event of an infringement, the user account can be blocked, deleted or access to the server can be prevented on the technical side (eg by an IP lock).

The visitor also undertakes to immediately inform to-do-go of legal deficiencies on the part of to-do-go, which could lead to a legal action (such as a warning letter) with a reasonable lead time for to-do-go to solve the problem before taking any legal action. However, if legal action is taken and costs are incurred on side of to-do-go, then the causer of the costs is under an obligation to pay for these costs, if they had been avoidable by reporting with reasonable lead time.

Since to-do-go is financed by advertising and a third-party provider is used for the login, cookies are written and read by the third-party providers to whom to-do-go has no effect, as described in more detail in the Privacy Policy. In this sense, the login constitutes an active declaration of intention to use these third-party source codes with the implication that cookies can be written and read by them.

Other guidelines for use

to-do-go may also be used by businesses, provided the use in kind and extent is comparable to a private use. However, it is prohibited to include to-do-go as a whole or in parts within an iframe, to disguise to-do-go as the site's owner or to operate the source code on other servers. The source codes of to-do-go are copyrighted and may not be copied.

It is forbidden to suppress the insertion of the advertisement. to-do-go reserves the right to deny access to users that suppress advertisement through technical measures.
